Ellie Shechet at Jezebel has gone over the full transcript of Trump’s “truth” interview with TIME and “redacted everything that's not a verifiably true statement”. Earlier today, Mark Sumner wrote that Trump comes across in this interview as “nuts, unglued, screwy, crazed, cracked, and potty,” or “completely insane”, but how ‘bigly’ huge of a liar Trump is really evident when his lies are redacted.
Most of the text visible is the questions from the interviewer from TIME magazine. Truthful things Trump said were statements like “I went to Kentucky two nights ago” or “House intelligence chairman Devin Nunes told reporters, wow.” Of course, what Nunes said is redacted because what Trump says he said is a distortion.
Full-sized images of the redacted transcript are in the article at Jezebel and it’s obvious near all of Trump’s words are redacted. Nearly everything he says is a lie or simply wrong. That said, Trump ends the interview with an unfortunate truth.
